Why this site

A personal site of record: a single, verified source on who I am and what I do, rather than a handful of scattered — and sometimes wrong — profiles.

For a long time, what you could find about me online came down to a few scattered pages: an old, abandoned site, half-filled profiles, projects with no author's name. Enough to sow doubt rather than settle it.

This site settles it. It is the single source — the one of record — on my journey, my degrees, my publications and my projects. What appears here is dated, backed by a source where one exists, and presented without embellishment. What cannot yet be verified does not appear at all.

What you'll find

  • A journey in two sewn threads: medicine on one side, code on the other.
  • The projects, from products of my own to sites delivered for others, each with its real role and status.
  • The publications, cited exactly as they are printed in their journals.
  • Chronicles like this one, for what needs more than a line.

I would rather have a plain, accurate site than a flattering shop window. If you want to know who I really am, you are in the right place — and if something looks wrong, the contact page stays open to tell me.
